Verboten Verboten This award will be given to members who continuously go above and beyond for the betterment of the unit and reenacting as a whole. An example of this might be a large unit donation or purchase of a large unit item such as a truck or light armoured vehicle. The criteria for this award is that the member must have been active for a minimum of 8 years and have attended a total of 150 tactical events. Member must also be a holder of the Iron Cross First and Second Class. This award comes in 3 grades and will be awarded with the least prestigious first and all clasps having similar criteria starting with the least stringent. Verboten Must be a member of the unit for 5 years, have already been awarded the Bronze class, Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class and have attended a total of 75 tactical events. Must be an active member of the unit for 3 years and have been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. The member must have attended a minimum of 35 tactical events. This award will be issued to members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Awarded to members whose actions within the unit set the bar to a new level. The awardee must be a critical part of the organization who by dedication helps to further advance the organization. This can be done in various ways from a large unit purchase, to constantly bringing vehicles to events and anything in between. A member is also eligable if he recruits six new members who pass the one year mark and acquire all of their uniform, kit, and weapon. Awarding of this medal will be done based on a vote by all Officers and Non-commissioned officers in the unit.The individual must be an active member for 3 years and attending a minimum of 25 events. Note the member must have been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. The member must have been active and a part of the unit for a minimum of 2 years and have attended at least 15 events. The member must display dedication above and beyond what is regularly expected. The awardee must be an integral part of the unit and help it's advancement. A member is also eligable if he recruits three new members who pass the one year mark and acquire all of their uniform, kit, and weapon. Awarding of this medal will be done based on a vote by all Officers and Non-commissioned officers in the unit. This award will only ever be awarded upon special recommendation through the unit commander. The member will have to show a special devotion to the unit that does not have to do with reenacted combat such as providing clerical items, organization of unit document or consistently providing authentic meals to at tactical. Note: this is a very restricted award and will be at the unit commander’s discretion. Member must have taken part in 15 events considered major to the unit and have been an active member for a minimum of 1 year. The battles will be determined by the unit commander examples include Camp Clark, Demjansk, Jefferson Barracks, Mariongrad, and Rockford. This award will only be issued to members that are part of a Panzer crew and have been on the unit a minimum of 1 year while having attended 15 tactical events. NOT AWARDED AT THIS TIME. Verboten (Except while portraying 7.SS "Prinz Eugen", then it is authorized for use by any NCO or Officer) Must be a sniper in the unit. Grade 1 will be awarded for 1 confirmed Enemy kill at a tactical. Grade 2 will be for 10 confirmed kills at a tactical. And Grade 3 will be for 15 confirmed kills at a tactical event. Note must have been confirmed by a judge or referee. This will be awarded to active members of the unit who have either provided a vehicle and operate it or to members who consistently operate unit vehicles and have been an active member for a year. Note the member must be operating a vehicle that is taking part in a tactical or public battle. Must be an active member for a minimum of 1 year and have attended 6 Russian front tactical events or 1 Russian front tactical event that has weather conditions below freezing. Note member must be 24 years of age to receive this award. Must be an active member of the unit for 3 years and have attended a minimum of 25 eastern front tactical events. Pre-requisits include an age minimum of 24, the Ost Front Medal, the Iron Cross 2 Class, Infantry Assault Badge and a Wound Badge in Black. Must be a founding unit member or a member of at least 5 years, and must also hold the rank of SS-Rottenfuhrer or above. Awarded to members who have sustained a serious or life altering injury at a reenactment event or posthumously to any member. Or to any member who has recieved the Purple Heart while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Will be awarded to a unit member receiving 3 or more wounds while reenacting that have caused immediate visits to a E.R. facility or to see a doctor.This may also be issued to members who complete 35 tactical events WITHOUT sustaining an injury. Will be awarded to any member sustaining an injury while participating at a reenactment and having to see a doctor within a week of sustaining the injury. This may also be issued to members who complete 10 tactical events WITHOUT sustaining an injury. Awarded in 4 classes 4,8,12, and 25 years. Members must serve the unit and be active for the actual number of years as the Award represents. Example you must be an active member for 4 years to receive the 4 Year SS Long Service Medal |
Note all awards issued to members of the unit before this order has taken effect are considered permanent. These new requirements are not retroactive. These guidelines will be considered in effect as of 1-1-2011. Meaning events that members did attend throughout 2011 will count towards any of these guidelines. All decorations will have final approval through the unit commander.
